Review of Hope to Die by Cara Hunter

I am so excited to be taking part in the blog tour for Hope to Die by Cara Hunter today. I received a copy of this book as part of the blog tour.

This is the sixth book on the DI Adam Fawley series and is the first that I have read.

When the police receive an anonymous call at midnight about a gunshot being heard at a remote farmhouse, it looks like a burglary gone wrong.

However, things soon don’t add up and the police become suspicious of the elderly couple involved. What they don’t expect is that this will lead them back to one of the highest profile cases for their force in recent times that involved the disappearance of a newborn baby.

This book is full of twists and turns, I found it completely addictive to read. I particularly liked the structure, which is a mix of dialogue, transcripts and interviews for a tv series.

I can’t believe that this is my first Cara Hunter book - I will definitely be reading more.

Highly recommended for fans of crime fiction.
