Today I am taking part in the Random Things blog tour for Only Love Can Hurt Like This by Paige Toon.
Wren is devastated when her wedding is called off and she realises that her fiancé is in love with someone else. To get some space, she goes to visit her Dad and step family in Indiana.
Wren’s Dad is running a Pick Your Own fruit farm and after realising that space is helping, Wren decides to stay for the summer. The neighbouring farmer has a son called Anders whom Wren feels instantly attracted to.
However, Anders sadly lost his wife four years and is finding is hard to move on. Sparks definitely fly between Anders and Wren, but a secret Anders is harbouring is making it difficult for anything to happen. Can they both leave their past behind and move forward together?
I love Paige Toon’s books and really enjoyed reading this. It is a beautifully written and emotional book that will pull at your heartstrings. It is perfect for fans of slow burn and second chance romance.
