Review of Goddesses by Nina Millns

Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Goddesses by Nina Millns.

It’s 2017 and Ayesha and Yaz are working their way up the stand up comedy circuit in the UK.

Ayesha unintentionally goes viral after an outburst at an event and gains the attention of a very exclusive group of activists.

When she is invited to their self titled Goddess Retreat, she really wants to feel like one of them and fit in.

However, there is a more sinister side and Yaz seems to see something is amiss straight away.

This was a gripping and interesting read, but with dark and serious subjects are it’s heart. I really felt for Ayesha who was desperate to fit in, but some of the other characters just left me feeling quite curious with their strong sense of entitlement.

Overall, I enjoyed this and there were quite a few twists I didn’t see coming.

Thank you to Random Things Tours for including us. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.
