Review of Murder on the Christmas Express by Alexandra Benedict

Today is my stop on the blog tour for Murder on the Christmas Express by Alexandra Benedict.

I started reading this book on a train (which was possibly not the best location considering the opening scene) and couldn’t put it down!

On Christmas Eve the sleeper train from London to the Highlands is derailed. This is the last train before Christmas and is packed with people.

However, when a body is discovered in one of the cabins the passengers realise that this is the least of their problems and that a murderer is among them.

Now, on a derailed train and stuck in the middle of nowhere in a snowstorm, retired Detective Rox Parker must use her sleuthing skills to find the murderer before he strikes again.

At first it seems obvious, but it soon becomes apparent that no one is quite what they seem on this train. Can she find out in time?

What a fantastic read! I felt gripped and absorbed in this story and it has such a fantastic array of characters.

I highly recommend this book!
