Review of A Recipe for Christmas by Jo Thomas

Today is my stop on the  Random Things  blog tour for A Recipe for Christmas by Jo Thomas.

I always look forward to a Jo Thomas book and I was really excited to read her latest Christmas novel.

When Clara’s new boyfriend asks her to move to Switzerland with him, she jumps at the chance of a fresh start. Clara can’t wait to find out what life is like in Switzerland and how more perfect can it get as a location for Christmas.

On arrival, she signs up for a chocolate course. It looks picture perfect in a beautiful alpine location. However, things don’t quite go to plan.

The chocolate making course is far more intense than she imagined and life with Daniel is not planning out well.

All Clara has ever wanted is a cosy traditional Christmas with loved ones, but as Christmas draws closer, it doesn’t look like that is going to happen.

After the tricky start and relationship woes, Clara begins to make friends and even the aloof Gabriel has some tips for her. Will Clara get her dream Christmas or will she be heading home on her own for the festive season?

I absolutely loved this book, it is filled with everything I want in a festive read. Snow, a romance, fun characters and lots of chocolate. In fact, now I want to do a chocolate making course!

I had to get myself a box of Lindt chocolates when reading this as well. A gorgeous book that I highly recommend for your Christmas tbr.
