Review of Quicksand of Memory by Michael J Malone

Today is my stop on the Quicksand of Memory blog tour.

Luke is recently bereaved and is raising his young son alone when he meets Jenna. Jenna has her own issues arising from a terrible relationship some years ago and she goes to Luke for counselling. The two soon realise that their relationship will become more than just a professional one and they try to put the past behind them and make a life together.

The problem is someone is watching and that person is out for revenge, something they have been waiting on for a very long time. What follows is a dark and sinister tale that you will not want to put down. It is a book full of secrets and psychological torment. What you realise is that everyone is hiding something, but the past is catching up with them quickly.

This is a fast-paced book that is full of twists and turns. It is a compelling read and soon you find yourself swept away by the storyline and the consequences of an accident that happened many years ago.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I will definitely be reading more. It’s a real edge of your seat book and I highly recommend it.

5 stars
