Review of Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey

I am delighted to be taking part in the blog tour today for Hook, Line and Sinker.

Fox Thornton is a fisherman with a reputation as being a bit of a player and he is happy with his life like this until Hannah Bellinger appears on the scene. The thing about Hannah is that she likes Fox a lot, but only as a friend. That’s not what Fox had in mind.

Hannah heads back to Westport for work and ends up staying with Fox as there isn’t any room at her sister’s house. It seems like the perfect arrangement since they are just friends. However, Fox soon realises that he has fallen for Hannah and when she asks for romantic advice towards a colleague, Fox knows that he wants her to turn her attention to him. Hannah also starts falling for Fox, but she doesn't just want to be another one of his girls. Has Fox changed enough for Hannah to move further with their relationship?

This is such a great friends to lovers story and is a really feel good read. It is the sequel to It Happened One Summer, but you can easily read as a standalone novel as well.

I really liked the setting of Westport, it has real holiday vibes for me. I also thought that the prologue and epilogue are so great and you jump straight into the personalities of the two characters.

I recommend for any romance fans. I can’t wait to read what Tessa Bailey writes next.

I love this cover!
