Review of A Winter Grave by Peter May

I am thrilled to be taking part in the blog tour for A Winter Grave by Peter May today. I received a copy of this book as part of the tour.

It’s 2051 and the world has stumbled into a climate change disaster. Much of England and parts of Scotland are under water and unrecognisable from what we know today.

A young meteorologist discovers a body of a man entombed in ice, whilst she is checking a mountain top weather station.

Its soon discovered that victim is a reporter who has been missing for three months. Veteran Glasgow detective Cameron Brodie volunteers to investigate. Brodie joins forces with pathologist Dr Sita Roy, but he also has an ulterior motive - to face his estranged daughter who lives nearby.

However, during the autopsy a shocking discovery is made that puts the lives of Brodie and Roy is serious danger. When a storm cuts of all communication, Brodie is forced to face up to a killer who is prepared to do anything to stop secrets being uncovered. At the same time, Brodie must also face the ghosts of his past in order to move on.

This was a fast paced, edge of your seat read that I could not put down. It was the first cli-fi book I have ever read.
