Happy publication day for Amazing Grace Adams!
I am so excited to have received a proof copy of Amazing Grace Adams to review.
It’s a boiling hot summers’ day and Grace Adams is stuck in a traffic jam on her way to collect her sixteen year old daughters birthday cake. Her daughter doesn’t know any of this because she stopped talking to Grace a few months before and is living with her father, who has filed divorce proceedings against Grace.
As you are reading this, you are left wondering how did everything end up like this for Grace? You know at the beginning that Grace was exceptional, outgoing and known as the Amazing Grace Adams, so what is going on?
The story is told in multiple timelines, so you get to look back over Grace’s life and start to out pieces together about what has happened in her past.
This book is hilarious and very moving at the same time, it will have you laughing, crying and cheering Grace on. I felt very attached to Grace the whole way through and really wanted things to work out for her.
I literally could not put this book down and read it in two sittings. I can’t believe it is a debut and I am really looking forward to reading Fran Littlewood’s next book.
