I’m really excited to be taking part in the Random Things blog tour for The Theory of (Not Quite) Everything by Kara Gnodde.

Mimi and Art Brotherton are brother and sister, they are very close after the death of their parents.

Art is a mathematical genius and everything he does must be logical. Mimi, on the other hand, prefers to follow her heart.

When Mimi decides that it’s time she met a partner, her brother is not so sure it is a great idea, but agrees as long as she sticks to a mathematical principle. Mimi agrees, but then she meets Frank - who is carefree, spontaneous and also a mathematician. It seems like the perfect match, but Art is not so keen.

As the relationship between Mimi and Frank improves, the sibling relationship between Art and Mimi starts to fall apart and Mini’s new found happiness is threatened.

This is a wonderful and very moving story about love, loss and friendship.

I loved this beautifully written book and can’t wait to read more from this author.
