Review of Looking Glass Sound by Catriona Ward

I am so excited to be taking part in the blog tour for Looking Glass Sound today. Thank you to Viper Books for sending me a copy of this book as part of the tour.

Wil is writing his memoirs and looking back on his childhood summers in New England, which he spent with his friends Harper and Nat. It is the summer of 1990 and The Dagger Man is at large among the residents of Whistler Bay in New England. As the summer progresses and a body is discovered, nothing is ever going to be the same for Wil again.

It is also the story of Wil’s school friend Sky who stole his work and published it and became a bestseller. Now as Wil writes, his memories and realities blur into one and you start to wonder what is real and what is fiction.

This is a dark, terrifying and addictive book with some shocking twists. I was properly spooked and stayed up late into the night to find out what happened.

It is my first book by Catriona Ward and I definitely need to read her previous books.

I also love this cover.
