Review of The Roughest Draft by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka

Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for The Roughest Draft by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka.

Katrina and Nathan are authors whose last co-written book was a huge bestseller, but that was over three years ago and they haven’t written anything together since.

However, they have one book still in their contract and are forced to reunite in order to fulfil their obligations. Being back in the Florida house together where they wrote their previous book was not at the top of either of their lists but they decide to make the most of it.

As their novel takes shape, they both begin to see that all romances take a few rough drafts before they are truly ready.

I loved this book and the chemistry between the two characters, which bubbled under the surface even when they felt like they hated each other. I also really liked that it is a book about books and writing.

I would recommend this for romance fans and anyone who enjoys Emily Henry’s books.

How gorgeous is this cover?! I think it’s one of my favourite covers of the year so far.

Thank you to Random Things Tours for including me. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.

About the Authors

Emily Wibberley and Austin SiegemundBroka met in high school and fell in love over a shared passion for Shakespeare. Austin went on to study English at Harvard so he could continue to impress Emily with his literary analysis, while Emily studied adolescent psychology at Princeton. They live in Los Angeles, where they’ve combined their interests and decided to write stories of high school, literature and first love.
