Today is my stop on the Literally Pr blog tour for Have You Seen the New Forest Unicorn by Carole Smith with Illustrations by Alexandra Wilson.
Drummer, Merlin, Peewee, Riley, Juliet and Willow are New Forest ponies who are looking for a unicorn. They travel around the forest asking different animals if they have seen the elusive unicorn.
Was the unicorn really drinking from the pond or did the hot air balloon scare it away? Not all
Of them are sure that it is truly there but they all want to investigate.
I loved the way that this book took you around the New Forest meeting many of the animals who live there.
This is such a lovely book. I read it with my son who loves ponies and as soon as I finished, he wanted me to read it again.
I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
