Review of The Invisible Women's Club by Helen Paris

Today is my stop on the Random Things  blog tour for The Invisible Women's Club by Helen Paris.

In her seventies, Janet Pimm feels like she has become an invisible woman. Living by herself, she spends her days alone on her allotment caring for her plants.

When Seaview the allotment site is threatened with closure, Janet feels like her whole purpose in life is about to be swallowed up and is determined to stop this happening.

What she doesn’t expect is that her neighbour Bev is going to help whether Janet wants her to or not. By joining forces Janet will see that there is a lot more to Bev than Janet initially thought.

You get hints all the way through that Janet had a successful career and a family, but what happened and why is she on her own now?

This is a lovely story of friendship and the power of community.

I think this cover is so pretty!
