Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Life and Otter Miracles by Hazel Prior.

Phoebe Featherstone and her Dad Al have recently moved to the Devon countryside. Phoebe can’t get out much, but she lives vicariously through her Dad’s job as a courier and loves to imagine the lives of the recipients of each delivery and what secrets they might have.

When they do venture out, Phoebe discovers an abandoned baby otter by the side of the river bank. She is enthralled by this beautiful creature and finds herself stepping out of her comfort zone and volunteering at the nearby otter sanctuary.

However, it’s not long before Phoebe realised that something is amiss at the otter sanctuary and she must use her detective skills to protect the otters and find out what is going on.

This is such a lovely book, I became completely absorbed in Phoebe and Al’s world with the otters.

I can’t wait to read more books by this author.
