Today is my stop on the blog tour for If I Had a Polar Bear by Gabby Dawnay and Alex Barrow.
My son and I have read this book together at bedtime every evening for over a week. It is the story of a young child who thinks that a polar bear would be an ideal pet.
The books goes through all of the reasons why a polar bear would make a good pet. The Father Christmas page was our favourite.
It is a beautiful to read out aloud and the illustrations are absolutely stunning, really bringing this beautiful book to life.
This is a lovely book that I would highly recommend.

Alex Barrow is a London-based illustrator, and the art director for and a regular contributor to OKIDO magazine.
