From the Library with Love is a podcast by Author Kate Thompson about people whose lives have been changed by reading.
I read and absolutely loved The Little Wartime Library by this author and was excited to find out more about the podcast.
I listened to the podcast about The Guinea Pig Club. It was a fascinating account about a group of men who were Royal Airforce personnel or Navigators during World War Two and who suffered burns during the war.
They called themselves the Guinea Pig Club and had a shed where they all met.
I found it remarkable listening to their story and hearing how they made the best of things even in the darkest of times.
This is such a brilliant series and I am looking forward to listening to many more episodes.
