Today is my stop on the Ransom PR blog tour for Rebellion by Simon Scarrow.
I have always been fascinated by the Romans and this series really brings the Roman era to life.
In this instalment it’s AD 60 and Boudica is gaining ground, the novel opens dramatically with a battle scene and it gives a taste of what is to come.
As Boudica has a taste of history, things get very tense in besieged Londinium. Governor Suetonius takes control with trusty prefect Cato. However, they soon see that they are very poorly prepared for a full scale confrontation.
Things get worse when Cato’s trusty and loyal friend Macro is reported missing after battle. Can Macro really have been killed. Cato is determined to find out and will do whatever he can to keep the Empire alive.
This is another amazing and action packed read from Simon Scarrow. I highly recommend it.
