Review of Eat to your Hearts Content by Sat Bains

Today is my stop on the blog tour for Eat to your Heart's Content by Sat Bains.


I was really intrigued to read this book as I have heard so many great things about Sat Bains, restaurant.


This book focuses on heart healthy foods after sat Bains suffered a heart attack. It tells the history leading up to this and has an introduction to heart healthy eating by Dr Neil Williams.


I tried a couple of recipes from this book and found so many more that I want to cook. My favourote was chicken with seven bulbs of garlic, which we had for Sunday lunch and we really like the pot roast mushrooms with poached eggs and thyme. I can see this becoming a regular staple dish for us.

The recipes are all easy to follow and there are eight different sections including sweet things at the end.

I highly recommend this book and look forward to cooking lots more from it.

About the Author


Sat Bains is best known for being chef proprietor of the two-Michelin starred Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms in Nottingham, England. It also holds one Green Michelin Star. He won the Roux Scholarship in 1999 and worked in France before returning to the UK and opening his own restaurant. Sat won Great British Menu in 2007 and has continued making regular appearances on television.
