Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Strong Female Character by Fern Brady.
Strong Female Character is Fern Brady’s memoir of growing up with undiagnosed autism.
It’s an honest account that has some very funny moments, but some truly heartbreaking ones too.
It details Fern’s childhood in Glasgow and then her life at the university of Edinburgh and goes on to her early gigs and how her career came about.
I liked the way in which the book also includes facts about autism throughout.
I enjoy reading memoirs and found I couldn’t put this one down.
This is a brilliant read that I would highly recommend.
