Today is my stop on the blog tour for The School Run by Ali Lowe.

The beautiful coastal town of Pacific Pines is home to the prestigious St Ignatius Boys School. Every year, a gala day is held to select the next intake to the school.

The boys must face physical and mental tests to get the chance to gain a place and parents will do whatever they can to ensure that their sons’ succeed.

However, when scandals threaten to come the surface and reveal long hidden secrets, three mothers will do whatever they can to stop it.

However, when one boy is knocked down in a hit and run, they are forced to question what length they will really go to protect themselves and their families.

Told from the alternating perspectives of Estella, Kaya and Bec, you get the feeling that you are getting to go behind the scenes with each character. However, at the end of the book you will still be wondering how well you really knew them.

I was so gripped by this book, I started reading early in the morning and finished the same evening! It is everything I want from a thriller.

My cocktail in the photo is a Yorkshire Rhubarb Bellini.

Thank you to Alainna at Hodder for including me. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.
