Review of The Secrets of Blythswood Square by Sara Sheridan

Ad-PR product.

Today is my stop on the blog tour for The Secrets of Blythswood Square by Sara Sheridan.

It’s 1846 in Glasgow and everything feels on the edge of change - both the city itself and its inhabitants.

Charlotte Nicholl is devastated when her father dies suddenly. However, when she finds out that her inheritance is tied up in a vast secret collection of erotic art, she starts to think she did not really know her father at all.

Ellory Mann is newly arrived in Glasgow and a talented photographer who has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity. A chance meeting with Charlotte strikes an unlikely friendship.

However, both women have secrets that they hope to conceal. Will the truth catch up with them and what will be the consequences.

I thought this was an absolutely brilliant book and I felt so invested in how things would go for Ellory and how everything would work out for Charlotte. I was also fascinated aged by the descriptions of the early photography process.

This is also one of my favourite covers - it’s so pretty!

Thank you to Alainna at Hodder for sending me a copy to review. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.
