Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for The Book of Witty Women. Published by Farrago books.
I think I mentioned a couple of months ago that I have really gotten into short stories recently. I like to read first thing in the morning in bed with a coffee and a short story is a great way to start the day for me.
When I saw the tour for this book, I knew it was one I wanted to add to my short story collection and I was not disappointed.
This book features fifteen stories and is introduced by Helen Lederer. It is the first anthology that is dedicated to comedy writing by women authors.
My favourite story was Double Date by Lucy Vine and this book allowed me to discover some new authors whose books I will now look out for.
