Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Girl Unmasked by Emily Katy.
Emily seems like a typical young girl with an ordinary family life, but as she gets older she feels different to those around her and doesn’t know why.
It is only when she is 16 that she discovers she is autistic. In this candid book, she reveals how she found her true self and how her family and friends helped.
The author has written an honest and vivid account of growing up feeling different, but not knowing why.
This was such a fascinating and eye opening read. I will definitely look out for what this author writes next.
