Review of Silver Spurs and a Twelve Pound Heart by Helen Newman Wood

Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Silver Spurs and a Twelve Pound Heart by Helen Newman Wood.

Katie is stuck at a boring desk job in London and living in a flat with housemates she doesn’t like. She longs to be doing something different and when a friend offered her the chance to work on the yard of famous event rider Roger Fleming Bowen, she drives straight there.

The is a spark between Katie and Roger instantly, but Roger has said that he will never get involved with one of his staff again. Is this about to change when he meets Katie?

I loved this book and the setting of the competition world. I thought Katie was a great character and really wanted everything to work out for her.

This is such a gorgeous cover!
