Review of The Midnight Hour by Eve Chase

I am really excited to be taking part in the blog tour for The Midnight Hour by Eve Chase today.

It’s Notting Hill in the late 1990s and one evening seventeen year old Maggie watched her mother get ready for an evening out. However, in the morning her mother has still not returned and Maggie starts TJ fear the worst.

Twenty one years later and Maggie is living in Paris. When her phone rings and the voice at the other end is from a past she would rather forget, Maggie’s hard built new life suddenly crumbles.

On the phone, she is told that the new owner of the house she lived in with her mother and brother Kit, is having a basement excavation. Maggie knows she must race back to London before long buried secrets are revealed.

A book about families and the secrets they keep set against the background of the antiques world. This was such a gripping read and I particularly liked the dual timeline.

Another fantastic book from Eve Chase that I couldn’t put down.
