Review of Keep Her Sweet by Helen Fitzgerald

I am thrilled to be taking part in the blog tour for Keep Her Sweet today. I received a copy of this book as part of the Random Things blog tour.

Penny and Amdeep have downsized to a small house in the countryside and are desperate to enjoy their new setup together. However, what wasn’t part of the plan was that their two daughters, who are both in their twenties, would come and join them.

Suddenly, this little cottage is not so romantic anymore with four people squashed in together including two grown up daughters who are not earning any of their own money.

Soon things come to a head when Asha injures Camille. They call in a therapist, but she dismisses it as sibling rivalry. The thing is that it is way past that and will only end badly. In murder, in fact. The question is though, who will get murdered?

This book is a real page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. The family are so dysfunctional and it takes sibling rivalry and relationships to a whole new level.

What I loved was that you know from the start we know that there is going to be a murder, but we don’t know who does it. It kept me guessing the whole way through.

The characters are very well thought out and I found that you feel you get to know all of them in different ways.

I really recommend this book for anyone who likes thrillers.
