I love Shelia O’Flanagan’s books and was really excited to
read What Eden Did Next.
Five years after Eden’s firefighter husband Andy passed
away, she is ready to start moving forward with her life. His death has made
her realise that life can change at any time and she wants to cherish every
moment with her precious daughter Lila.
Then she meets someone from her past who makes her remember
what life was like before it was consumed by tragedy. However, not everyone is
happy about this, especially Andy’s mother who determined to put a stop to it.
Not only could this prevent Eden from finding happiness again, it could also
rip their family apart.
This is such a beautifully written and moving novel. I did
not want to put it down and really felt for Eden who is such a lovely, kind character.
By the end of the book you feel like you know her so well.
What Eden Did Next is a fantastic novel filled with
heartbreak, loss, hope and love.
I highly recommend it.
