I am so excited to be taking part in the Random Things blog
tour for Should I Tell You? Today. I received a copy of this book as part of
the tour.
Lachlan, Raffaele and Amber grew up with the same lovely foster
parents, Ted and May, in the village of Lanrock in Cornwall.
They know each other better than anyone, but all three of
them are keeping things from each other. Amber is secretly in love with
Lachlan, but she doesn’t see the point in telling him as she is sure that she
will risk losing him as a friend.
Raffaele was in a relationship with Vee until it went sour
and she dumped him, but he can’t understand why. Is it possible that Vee is
also hiding something? Whilst, successful chef Lachlan can never seem to settle
down in a relationship, but perhaps there is a reason for this too.
Then, their recently bereaved foster Dad Ted goes on a Mediterranean cruise
and meets the much younger Olga. When he arrives home happy and with Olga
alongside him, Lachlan, Raffaele and Amber are suspicious. Is Olga truly in
love with Ted or is something more sinister at play?
This is such a wonderful book and I loved everything about IT
- from the setting in Cornwall to the warm-hearted characters and the element
of mystery that surrounds the arrival of Olga.
This is a perfect summer read that I would rate as a five
stars. I also adore this beautiful cover.
