Review of Night Shadows by Eva Bjorg Aegisdottir

I am thrilled to be taking part in the Random Things blog tour for Nightshadows today. I received a digital copy of this book as part of the tour.

A mysterious deadly fire at an upmarket house in the small town of Akranes in Iceland is shocking for the local community, but when it turns out to be arson and the victim is twenty year old Marino, people cannot believe who would do such a thing and why.

Detective Elma and the West Iceland CID begin investigating, but soon find that nothing in this case is at it seems and some people will do anything to keep their secrets from being revealed.

I loved this book and was hooked from the first page. It’s fast paced and I felt completely immersed  as Elma set about trying to uncover a sinister web of secrets.

I have really enjoyed books set in Iceland recently and I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

I highly recommend this for fans of crime fiction and thrillers.
