Review of No Secrets by David Jackson

I am so excited to be taking part in the blog tour for No Secrets by David Jackson today. I received a copy of this book as part of the tour.

Izzy Lambert has an unusual ability, almost like a sixth sense, she can tell when people are lying and can read their emotions. This has had negative effects growing up even leading to her parents divorce and it means that she tries not to get to close to people.

However, when young girls start going missing in her town and the police have no leads and no suspects, they seem to be at a dead end. When Izzy sees her old school caretaker giving a witness statement on TV, she instinctively knows that he is lying.

Izzy goes to the police, but finds it hard to persuade them that she knows that Kenneth Plumley is somehow involved without any evidence. Then, another girl disappear and Izzy knows she cannot standby, she has to make the police see the truth. The problem is that Izzy knows better than anyone just how much damage the truth can bring sometimes.

This book had so many twists and turns that I could not put it down and I ended up reading it in just two sittings.

The setting is so creepy, it gave me shivers just thinking about it. This is an amazing book that will stay with you long after reading it.

No Secrets is definitely one for fans of thrillers
