Review of Someone to Kiss by Jamie Anderson

AD-PR Product.

I am really excited to be taking part in the Random Things blog tour for Someone to Kiss by Jamie Anderson. I received a digital copy of this book as part of the tour.

On New Years Eve, Kate attends a wedding. It should be a happy occasion, but as the clock strikes midnight and a new year dawns Kate is uncontrollably drunk. She hastily scribbles a note on a napkin that in a years time she will have found herself someone to kiss.

In a hungover state, Kate and her best friend set up a dating profile immediately. Then she waits for replies to come in. However, Kate soon realises that she prefers staying at home watching Netflix with her cat Mittens than looking for Mr Right.

Time slips away and the clock is ticking down without a partner being found, but could the one she has been looking for have been there all along?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book - it’s funny, witty but tackles serious issues at the same time. There were quite a few laugh out loud moments and I really warmed to Kate as a character. I will be looking out for more books by this author.

I also love the cover!
