Today I am taking part in the random things blog tour for Sensitive by Hannah Jane Walker. I received a copy of this book as part of the tour.
Hannah Jane Walker is a sensitive person and she grew up believing that this was a negative trait. She has spent many years researching sensitivity and in this book she examines what it is like to be sensitive and how it can be beneficial.
The book covers a wide range of topics including our self worth, how we should teach sensitivity, what challenges are faced by being highly sensitive and how this can affect our mental health.
This is a great book that examines what Sensitive really means and how being labelled as this can affect us. It also goes on to show us how we should see this as a strength instead of a weakness.
I enjoyed reading this book, it’s a real eye opener and a powerful read that I will be thinking about for a long time.
