Review of Murder Under the Tuscan Sun by Rachel Rhys

Today I am taking part in the Random Things blog tour for Murder under the Tuscan Sun by Rachel Rhys.

A beautiful castle in the Tuscan hills holds dark secrets. When Connie, a widow from England, arrives to work for Evelyn Manetti and her ailing art dealer uncle in 1927, she thinks she has found a perfect escape from her mundane life in England.

However, the beauty of the castle and the stunning location soon give way to the reality of a family full of secrets and strange occurrences in the night.

What are the terrifying wailing noises at night - is the castle haunted by a young girl from the 1500s or is there something even more sinister at play? Why does Connie feel that this is aimed at her or is she losing her mind?

This is such a compelling mystery, it kept me reading long into the night. I also loved the setting of Tuscany.

I can’t believe that this is my first Rachel Rhys book - I will definitely be looking out for more books from this author.
