Today is my stop on the Ransom PR blog tour for The Murder Wheel by Tom Mead.

In London in 1938, a murder has been committed on a ferris wheel at a fairground. Carla Dean has been accused of shooting her husband.

Edmund Ibbs is a young solicitor attached to the defence of Carla and is determined to find out what really happened.

Ibbs is also an amateur magician and loves to attend magic shows. However, when he visits the Pomegranate theatre to see the famous magician Professor Paolini, he finds himself witnessing a second murder and then being framed for it.

Ibbs knows that he has been framed, but Inspector Flint thinks that everything points to his guilt. Lucky for Ibbs, his hero magician Joseph Spector is present and he also realised that something is amiss.

Can Spector work out what trick has been used in plain sight?

This is a fantastic read and I really enjoyed the theatre setting with the element of illusion and magic.

Thank you to Ransom PR for including me on the tour. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.
