Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Split Code by Dorothy Dunnett.
I have only recently discovered this author and am loving reading these new editions of her books, many of which were first published in the 1970s.
Split Code is the sixth book in the Dolly Mystery series with the enigmatic spy Johnson Johnson at its heart.
Joanna Emerson has graduated from one of the most prestigious colleges for Murder nurses. Soon she has found a position as Nanny to Bendict, the young heir to a cosmetic fortune.
It feels like her education is being out to good use, but then she becomes caught up in a kidnap plot and finds herself the very target.
It is lucky that Johnson Johnson is not far away to step in and solve this mystery.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend for fans of cosy mysteries.
