Review of What We Did in the Storm by Tina Baker

Today is my stop on the blog tour for What we did in the Storm by Tina Baker.

The beautiful island of Tresco has is like two different worlds coming together - those who live there and the wealthy time share ownership who arrive in their helicopters.

However, life is not always as perfect as the holidaymakers thinkfor those living there full time. In fact, there are many secrets threatening to bubble up to the surface.

As dark storm clouds sweep ever closer to the island, rumours start to gain pace. Then at the heart of the storm, two women are attacked and one disappears.

Suddenly the secrets everyone is keeping can no longer be hidden if they are to discover what happened in the storm.

This is a brilliant book, I couldn’t put it down and I loved the setting of Tresco. I’ve always been intrigued by the Scilly aisles and would love to visit one day, I think this is the first book I have read that is set there.

I really liked the multiple POV and short chapters, which made it such a gripping read.

Highly recommended for thriller fans.
