Both of my children were really excited when a copy of Tiny Dogs: Bea’s Secret Friends arrived to review.
Beatrix Bloom known as Bea feels anxious when she moves with her mum to live with her Grandparents. It means moving in to a new school and Bea is a shy person.
When she gets to her grandparents house, the garden is not at all how she remembered. It is overgrown and there is a hidden greenhouse.
Whilst exploring, Bea is shocked when she discovers four tiny dogs living there. They are Willow, Pepper, Clover and Sorrel.
It soon becomes apparent that they need Bea’s help, but Bea also needs their help. Can she feel brave enough to try and save the garden?
This is such a lovely book. My daughter read this in just two sittings and I read it to my son who is four and he loved the descriptions of the little dogs.
The illustrations are vivid and really being the story to life.
