Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Dorothy by Neil Rathmell.

I was immediately intrigued by this book, which is a novel in verse that follows the life of one woman over the course of the last century.

I have always been fascinated by people, much like my grandparents, whose lives spanned much of the last century. I think they must have witnessed so much change and upheaval, it is hard to comprehend.

Independent Dorothy, the author tells the whole life story of a Yorkshire woman - a normal life in an extraordinary time.

This is a lovely novel and Dorothy’s story is vividly brought to life with this beautiful and touching prose.

Thank you to Random Things tours for including me. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.
