Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Second Chance Summer by Philippa Ashley.
I love Philippa Ashley book and was excited to read her latest novel, which is set in the Scilly Isles.
When career focused Lily Harper arrives for a much needed wellness retreat on the beautiful Scilly Isles, she thinks there must have been a mix up. There is no Wi-Fi, no phone signal, the island is shrouded in heavy fog and she is the only guest.
The retreat is run by Sam and Lily is his first guest, but things don’t get off to a great start for them both. As Lily is about ready to leave there is an incident that suddenly puts things into perspective for her and makes her wonder if she does truly want to go back to the non stop lifestyle she had before.
Can she give the retreat another go and is it too late to set things right with Sam?
This was such a great book and I loved the setting of the Scilly Isles. Second Chance Summer is definitely a read I would recommend for your summer tbr.
