Today is my stop on the blog tour for Little Lion Girl by Olivia Hope and Fiona Woodcock.

Little Lion Girl is the story of young Leonie who goes for a visit to the city with her mother. Fascinated by the people on the train journey there, Leonie decides to invent a new persona and calls herself the Lion Girl.

She is excited to experience this new environment as a brave explorer and has a fun day out discovering new things.

This is such a lovely book with illustrations that vividly bring the story to life.

My four year old son really enjoyed it and I laughed because on a recent trip to London with him, he was fascinated by everyone on the train and the underground - he wanted to know what they were listening to and why some people were asleep!

Thank you kaleidoscopic tours and Bloomsbury for sending us a copy. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.
