Delphie Brookman cannot believe that she is

about to die from choking on a microwave burger. However, it’s happened and she has woken up in the afterlife wearing embarrassing pyjamas and being shown a film of her life.

Then a new arrival appears in the afterlife, not only is he the most handsome person that Delphie has seen, she also feels an instant chemistry and he seems to feel it to. Just as she thinks she has finally found her soulmate, he is sent back to life and shouldn’t have been there at all it seems.

Delphie is devastated, but she is given an offer. Go back to earth, find her possible soulmate, fall in love and stay alive. She had to do this in ten days or it’s straight back to the afterlife for her.

This was such a fun read that had me laughing out loud in places. There are a lot of twists I didn’t see coming and Delphie is such a great heroine.

The Love of my Afterlife is a brilliant book, I can’t recommend it enough.
