Today is my stop on the blog tour for Meli and Mac Rendezvous with a Flamingo by Elena Joannides and Margherita Ende.
Siblings Meli and Mac are off on an expedition and unexpectedly meet a lost flamingo from France called Freddie.
Freddie is hoping to be reunited with his friends and Meli and Mac are going to help him and learn some French on the way. This was so much fun and we loved the vivid illustrations
My four year old son loved this book and the story of Freddie the lost flamingo. We are going to France soon for our summer holiday and he is hoping to use some of the phrases he has learnt.
This is a fantastic book, one of our favourite children’s books so far this year. We particularly liked the inclusion of some basic French phrases and words at the end of the book.
