Today is our stop on the blog tour for The Secret of the Blood Red Key by David Farr.
This book is the sequel to The Book of Stolen Dreams. It follows Rachel and Robert who are heroes of Krasnia after defeating the evil President Malstain.
Rachel was left with a red key, but had no idea if it’s role. When a young boy appears from no where and tells Rachel that she is the Keeper of the Key and must do as it demands she knows that something powerful is happening.
Then Rachel discovers that a young girl called Elsa Spiegeleisen has been taken to the Hinterland and is trapped away from her family. Rachel realise that only the key may be the way to get Elsa back and she must do everything she can to help, even if it means putting her own life at risk.
This was a fantastic, fast paced read and my daughter was excited to discover a new author.
