Today is our stop on the blog tour for The Wanderdays: Journey to Fantome Island by Claire Povey.

Flo and Joseph Wanderday are devastated when their explorer mum goes missing whilst on an under sea expedition. However, if anyone can survive they know their mum can and they are determined to find her.

In order to track her down they must unravel clues and discover where the mysterious Fantome Island is.

Can they work out the mystery in time?

This was a fun and fast paced read that took us on an action packed under the sea adventure. It’s the first in a new series and we can’t wait to read the next book. My daughter really enjoyed reading this as well and we love the cover!

Thank you Kaleidoscopic tours and usborne for sending us a copy. Check out the banner below to follow the other stops on the tour.

About the Author

Clare Povey is an author, avid language learner and the proud owner of four Blue Peter badges.

She wanted to be a marine biologist when she was younger but found science difficult and so decided to create stories about the wonders of the natural world instead.

Her first novel for younger readers The Unexpected Tale of Bastien Bonlivre was a Waterstones Children's Book of the Month and was inspired by her time studying French at university and living in Lille.

She has dealt with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) her entire life and now writes stories about characters who have adventures and are forever curious about the world, despite their intrusive thoughts.
