Today is my stop on the Random Things blog tour for Vagabond by Mark Eveleigh.
Inspired by a nomadic Vagabundo who the author met almost thirty years previously, this is the account of Mark Eveliegh’s 1,225 KM hike across the Iberian Peninsular.
Carrying just a backpack and hammock, the author’s journey takes him from Gibraltar to Estaca de Bares - the most northern point of Spain.
I found this to be such a fascinating and inspiring read. I really enjoyed reading about the journey and the vivid descriptions of the surroundings.
I would highly recommend this book for fans of travel fiction.
