Review of Say Your Prayers by Lorraine Mace

Say Your Prayers is the first in Lorraine Mace’s D.I.Sterling series of books, the latest of which Love Me Tender has just been released.

I decided to start from the beginning and have to say this is a fantastic read that had me hooked from the very first page.

There is a terrifying killer on the loose – someone who has been raised to believe that sex is the work of the devil and he believes that by killing them he is saving his victims’ souls.

Detective Paolo Sterling is determined to find this monster and put him behind bars for life, but as the toll of victims begins to rise the pressure is on Paolo and this risk is that his personal and professional life will soon blur into one.

Can Paolo put a stop to these terrible crimes?

This is a must read for thriller fans. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series now. It is a fast-paced book that I did not want to put down. I think I have found a new favourite author!
