Today I am sharing my daughter's review of Luna and Fortuna: Fortuna Finds a Family.

Synopsis:

In this prequelto the suspenseful and humorous Italian fable Mario and the Stones. Fortuna is a young kitten dreaming of having adventures and a human family. She is curious and confident when she leaves mother cat, but black cat superstitions disrupt her plans. Will she find what she desires or will she find something even better?

Review by Bella aged 8.

This is another one of my favourite books because I love cats, this is the third book I’ve read that’s about cats. I started this book on Sunday 2nd April 2023 and I finished it on Thursday 13th April 2023.

My review is 5 stars and the genre is fiction. The book is about a cat called Fortuna. The story started when Fortuna was a little kitten. Her mother taught her how to get food. After that she went to the beach and found a boy called Adriano, but when she went to his house she had to leave. Fortuna went over the mountains of Italy and met a woman called Luna. Fortuna lived with Luna but one morning Fortuna woke up and she went to a farm nearby but got hurt by the sheep. The shepherd took Fortuna to his wife. This book was set in Italy – I really like this setting as I’ve got a friend who is Italian and I am hoping to go on holiday to Italy soon.

I am looking forward to reading Mario and the Stones next.
